All grips slip on & off the needle insert sleeve easily and the grips lock the needle in place firmly.
The needle protector cover slips on to protect you from any accidental pricks when storing and changing the grips.There is also a small hole in the storage box to sit your needle when taking a break from working on your doll head.

You can use the hole in the lid to hold your felting tool during coffee breaks 🙂

Inserting a Felting Needle into the Soft Touch Needle Sleeve.

Once the needle has been inserted to the length you prefer, simply slide on the grip you want to use, this holds the needle in place for rooting.
